Harley D Zip's record breaking number of wins makes him a Western riding legend. The bay gelding has earned more points, world championship titles, and Incentive Fund money than any other horse in the history of western riding for his owners, the Papendick family of Highview Ranch Quarter Horses of Rapid City, SD. Harley has won Open, Amateur, Select, and Youth Western Riding championships all in the same year and has wins in every western riding category: Junior, Senior, Amateur, Select, and Youth. He has earned 6,000 AQHA points, including 2,300 Open Western Riding points. This 16-time World Champion and 9-time Reserve World Champion has multiple Congress Championships and Congress Amateur Versatility Championships to his credit as well as being a 3-time AQHA year-end All-Around High Point Horse; multiple Year-End High Point Junior and Senior Horse wins; and by class, has earned 11 High Point Championships. In 2012, Harley retired at the AQHA World Championships. He now enjoys a comfortable retirement.
