Noel is a 2009 Christmas Trail of Painted Pony. As the legend is told in France, Père Noël (Father Christmas) is the legendary gift-giver who travels from house to house on Christmas Eve with his pet donkey (Mistletoe) and an overflowing bag of gifts. According to tradition, before they go to bed, children leave their shoes by the fireplace, filled with carrots and hay. If the children have been good, they will be rewarded with candies and presents... and if they have been very good, maybe even something treasured by both the young and young-at-heart: a handcrafted, hand-decorated rocking horse. The base, which as the limited edition number under it, is shaped differently. It is curved, has Noel written on it and has a few gift wrapped packages on it. This delightful Christmas pony was created by Karlynn Keyes with Bryn Wilkins Lawson. The pony is pure white. It has an elaborate red saddle and a green ribbon with tassles goes from neck to rear on both sides of this painted pony. Made of resin.
